Commissioners approve $1.65 million for local nonprofit service providers

(FOX23 NEWS) — Tulsa County Commissioners approved $1.65 million for local nonprofit service providers.

Money coming from the CARES act will provide forgivable loans of $20,000 up to $250,000 for nonprofits working to help those in need. Some recipients will include the Tulsa Dream Center and Meals on Wheels. Those groups stepped up during the pandemic to make sure people do not go hungry.
